Up to this poing Hupomeno has been entirely self-funded by Missy & me. However…today we received our first outside donation of $2000. This was a huge encouragement to me and I’m rejoicing in God’s provision for this little organization. I have no clue what will become of Hupomeno – whether it will sink or swim, but I’m grateful for the chance to take a shot at making it work and this donation helps put some additional wind in the sail!
Ultimately, our goal is to not rely on donations but to operate based on the cash generated from sale of goods from around the world. However, in this start up phase donations are especially helpful. There are lots of little things to pay for in getting something like this set up and so far the Lord has provided for every single item and service. From the legal process to the web design to the logo creation to the cash needed to purchase product.
