We officially have our “vision trip” booked. Missy, Lillian & I will leave Dallas on January 7th. We stop in Amsterdam – which is another way of saying that we are not stopping in Heathrow! And that’s a big blessing because Heathrow is awful! If you’re ever traveling overseas & can avoid London Heathrow – do it! From Amsterdam we head into Dar es Salaam. Dallas to Amsterdam is about a 9 1/2 hour flight. Amsterdam to Dar es Salaam is about a 10 1/2 hour flight. Should be lots of fun.
Also, we received Lilly’s passport this morning. Kudos to the U.S. government! We filed for her passport on Monday & had the passport in hand on Saturday – not a bad investment in the $60 expediate fee!
