• Work Permit – It looks like the work permit will take about four more weeks. I had to send them some additional documentation.  We’re allowing six weeks just to cover any contingencies.
• Hire Date –  I will officially be employed by OI on March 1^st.   
• Trip to Africa – Since I’m coming on full-time on March 1^st they wanted to try to utilize that time to help me get ready for the transition. Opportunity’s annual Leadership Network Conference is being held in Uganda from March 17-20.  This is an annual gathering of the CEOs & key staff from the various OI operations around the world.  They’ve asked me to come to this conference & then to fly on to Malawi to spend a week or so there.  The operation in Malawi has been very successful and they think it will benefit me greatly by spending a week with those folks (which I’m really looking forward to).  So I’ll be in Africa tentatively from March 15^th – 30^th. 
• Move – We’re tentatively scheduling the house to get packed up from April 6-8 and then we’d jump on a plane on or around April 11^th. 

We have a ton left to do.  The two biggies are:

• Rent the House -   If you know of anyone that might be interested in renting our house please shoot me an email at dpleventhal@gmail.com.  The house will be empty – we’re doing one of three things with our stuff (take, sell or store).  Here are some of the stats:
