My week is going great here in Malawi. I start the long journey home on Sunday so I’m trying to soak it all in (though I miss Missy & the kids something terrible!). This morning I must have hit a spike in the bandwidth b/c I was able to upload a bunch of photos relatively quickly.
Here are some pictures of:
- Random spots around town
- Opportunity’s self-contained banking vehicle. This truck goes out every day about 100 km to various locations around the central region. Pretty cool!
- Photos out in the local area where OI has installed point of sale devices where customers can use their OIBM card to pay or to get cash back (like an ATM). This is a new technology for nearly all of the folks in the rural area but they are taking to it very quickly.
- Some pictures inside the main branch here in Lilongwe
