7 years ago today we were blessed beyond measure by the birth of our second kiddo – my sweet Caroline! She is such a joy to our family – so full of spunk, energy & opinions!
This morning we got up and carved out some special time together. We started off with a stop at Starbucks for some coffee & hot chocolate…then headed off for the annual birthday donuts with dad. After that we went for her to get a haircut and a manicure & then back to the casa to celebrate with the rest of the crew.
In honor of her 7th birthday here are 7 questions we talked about over donuts:
- What is your favorite food? Orange chicken
- What do you want to do when you grow up? Be an ambulance driver
- What is one thing you are positive is true? The Bible because God wrote it.
- What is your favorite thing to do? Go to the movies –> Follow up question: What is your favorite movie? Star Wars (note that a single tear fell from the eye of this proud father!)
- What is one of your favorite memories? Being in preschool because there was a doll-house I loved to play with.
- If you could go visit anyplace in the world where would you go? Africa because I’ve never been there & Lilly has.
- What is the most important thing in your life? Following Jesus so I can go to heaven
