Baby boy OR girl!

Missy & I went to her twenty week appointment yesterday.  For those of you without kids – this is the time you can find out the gender of your kid.

We didn’t find out the gender when Missy was pregnant with D, C or L.  We had more debate this go round but ultimately decided we’d wait on this one too.  Which means…you’ll have to wait with us until the launch date – which is still on track for late November.  The appointment went great – Missy & baby are both progressing normally which is a huge blessing.  One we do not take for granted.

I did think it was funny that because of Missy’s age this is classified as an “advanced maternal pregnancy” – which is doctor speak for “you’re getting old!”  Of course, for me, “advanced maternal” age or not – she’s still the most amazing female on the planet!
