No…I’m not talking about my pregnant wife!!
I’m talking about our dog – Naiah. You see, it was on year ago today on July 24, 2011 that we adopted Naiah. She was tiny – around seven weeks old and weighed a whopping 6 pounds. Fast forward one year to the day and she’s still very much puppy….but a much bigger puppy!
Overall this has been a great year with her – we’ve learned a lot about being pet owners. And even when I catch her eating Josh’s flip flop (as I did 20 minutes ago) & I want to flip out (see what I did there?) I’m still really thankful for her spot in our family.
