Here is a little bit about me:
- I love Jesus and wrestle daily (most days) to keep my actions, thoughts & will from betraying my affections.
- I’ve been married to my extremely hot wife Missy for 11 years.
- We’ve got four kids we’re pretty fond of – Daniel, Caroline, Abigail & Lillian.
- I get the privilege of working for Hope for Orphans, an organization committed to serving churches with a heart for orphans in three ways:
- Mobilize – We educate Christians about God’s heart for orphans and encourage them to practice what God calls in James, chapter one, “pure and undefiled religion” – caring for orphans in their distress.
- Equip – We provide simple, practical, and biblically-based resources that help local church lay leaders launch and develop orphans ministries in their churches.
- Connect – We build strategic relationships with key organizations that we share with local churches as they respond to God’s mandate to care for the orphan.
- I earned my undergraduate degree in Communication from James Madison University (Harrisonburg, VA) in 1996 and a Certificate of Graduate Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2003.
- I am a fan of good dark beer in moderation, red meat, raw fish, the Dallas Cowboys, and the occasional mild non-embargoed cigar.
- I have a man-crush on Troy Aikman
- I love to play golf but am hopelessly awful
